We Are Orlando
Our hearts go out to Orlando this week as we mourn the tragedy that took place at Pulse nightclub early Sunday morning.
Although we are geographically far from Florida, the events this weekend shook us all as if it happened next door.
Here are some things you can do to support Orlando as well as the LGBTQ Community in Vancouver.
Donate to the OneOrlando Fund, proceeds go directly to those families most affected.
Donate blood to Canadian Blood Services, every blood donation makes a difference in someones life.
Get involved in the community here, Vancouver is home to the largest LGBTQ Community in Western Canada. The city website has links to several different community resources.
Finally, go and celebrate Vancouver Pride Week in August. We are Stronger Together and we will not let fear drive us.
