It’s Officially Summer

Summer 2019 in Northern Hemisphere began on Friday, June 21 and ends on Monday, September 23

Marking the longest day, the shortest night and the beginning of summer.

Google, today, marked the start of the summer with a doodle dedicated to the 2019 summer solstice. This period marks the longest days and shortest nights. The duration of daytime continues to decrease as the summer progresses after solstice. The date, however, varies depending on the climate, culture and tradition. When the Northern Hemisphere sees summer, the Southern Hemisphere sees winter, and vice versa.

So Happy First Day of Summer Everyone!
