Cherry Blossom Season!
Vancouver’s Cherry Blossom Festival starts next week on March 30th!
Vancouver Park Board created a map where you can find the beautiful cherry trees in your neighbourhood or specific types of cherry trees or simply the best locations for taking pictures.
Some trees are already in blossom! Simply click on what is blooming now to see some of first ‘Accolade’ trees on Beach Avenue at Thurlow, across from the Aquatic Centre.
The Cherry Blossom Festival is taking place from March 30 to April 23, and features a number of concerts, workshops, and art exhibitions happening around town. For more information about the month-long event, click here.
