Fireworks!
The ‘Celebration of Light‘ one of the city’s signature summer events, is starting end of July. The festival lights up the sky over English Bay for three nights. Three countries compete each year to wow Vancouver crowds, choreographing their spectacular displays to music as they’re launched off a floating barge in the bay.
Each night’s show will start at 10 pm! Here is the schedule of the competing countries:
South Africa: July 28, 2018
Sweden: August 1, 2018
South Korea: August 4, 2018
The winner of this year’s competition will be announced Aug. 7, 2018.
